Holiness Summitsa God thing!
I have been in revival! We just finished the
Holiness Summit at Olivet Nazarene University (ONU), in Kankakee, IL,
USA. ONU president Dr. John Bowling and his wonderful leaders hosted a
God thing. Service after service was so powerful with the presence of
God. The messages were weaved together as each speaker obeyed the Lord.
The attendance was excellent, with a peak of about 1,000 people seeking
after the holiness of God.
Dr. Bowling set the standard the first night, calling all to step up to
the plate and preach, teach and live a holy life. Dr. JK Warrick,
general superintendent, finished the last night with a powerful message
of what holiness can do in the life of God's people. He led in
anointing all the preachers and pastors to return to their place of
assignment and in the power of the Holy Spirit to preach and teach the
Word of God with boldness.
The Holiness Summit format is simple: praying and preachingpreaching
on what holiness is and what it does. It is powerful. It really is a
God thing.
My prayer is that we will see these powerful summits spring up around
the world. I will be attending one in Kenya in a few weeks. There is
another being planned in Oklahoma City this September. Others are
talking about planning summits in Jackson Mississippi and Atlanta, then
Dallas and so on.
